Bin Li received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and automation from the Shandong Jianzhu University, Shandong, China, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and automation from the Shandong University, China, 2010, respectively. Since 2018, he has been a professor of mechanical engineering and automation with the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China. Since 2020, he has been the director of Henan International Joint Laboratory of Cutting Tools and Precision Machining, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China, and from 2021 to now, he has been the Dean of School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China. His current research interests mainly include control systems and mechatronics with applications to automotive control systems, high efficiency cutting, design and development of tool materials and cutting tribology.
Prof. Li has awarded as the high level talents of Henan province, academic and technological leader of Henan province, outstanding young people of scientific and technological innovation of Henan province, outstanding young scientific and technological experts of Henan province, academic and technological leader of Henan provincial Department of education, and young backbone teachers of colleges and universities of Henan province. He is serving as an editorial board member for International Journal of Advanced Engineering Applications and also served as the outstanding and active reviewer for many international journals.
Prof. Li has been awarded by 2 National Natural Science Foundations of China, published 43 papers in the international journal and 2 books, and meanwhile he also hosted 35 national invention patents of China.
